====== Updating the Firmware ======
  - Update using the ''Administration'' page.  The device will reboot once or twice.{{  updatefirmware.png  }}
  - Upload the new information to the AREDN server using the ''Basic Setup'' page.  This will update [[http://usercontent.arednmesh.org/K/5/K5DLQ/livemap2.html#8/49.223/-123.764 |this map]]{{  uploadtoserver.png }}
  - Reinstall any additional packages such as [[/services/meshchat/home#aredn_configuration |meshchat]].
  - If you still see a message like this at the top of the home page:{{ message.png  }} You can force it to disappear by executing the last command on the ''Advanced Configuration'' page:{{  purgemessage.png  }}
